Welcome to Cruachan Hill Press! Cruachan Hill Press (est. 2009) is an independent publisher founded and managed by Phillip Campbell and featuring works by a variety of amateur authors. Phillip is the author of the Story of Civilization series from TAN Books, the editor of The Complete Works of St. Cyprian of Carthage from Arx Publishing, and many other self-published works.
Cruachan Hill Press specializes in theological, historical and devotional works of interest to the intellectual Catholic or those interested in studying the historic Catholic faith. We cater to those interested in historical Catholicism in its historical, theological and devotional aspects. Cruachan Hill promotes a "nerdy" brand of "intellectual" books; this means our books are informational and for serious study, oriented towards the erudite arm-chair scholar rather than the popular reader.
The first book published by Cruachan Hill Press was the fantasy-epic Tale of Manaeth (2009, Phillip Campbell). Cruachan Hill was a prominent place in that work, the name itself being borrowed from Cruachan, the battle motto of the Scottish Clan Campbell and a mountain in Scotland.

Statement of Faith
Cruachan Hill Press is loyal to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church and the Holy Pontiff Pope Francis. We do not publish books that undermine the faith of the Catholic Church or call into question the legitimate ministry of her pastors.
